Mattie & Me offer you a better solution while allowing you to be “earth friendly” by recycling, reselling and reusing!
What we accept:
CLOTHING
· Infant, children’s, juniors, and trendy maternity clothing. All clothing must be free of stains, tears, rips etc.
· All clothing should be of current styles (within the last 2-3 years) and should be in like new condition. No holey jeans unless they were intended to be that way.
· All clothing should be freshly laundered if clothing has been stored. Clothing with odors will not be accepted. We also will not accept clothing in garbage bags. Cardboard boxes, paper shopping bags with handles and totes will be accepted. All should be labeled with your name and phone number. We cannot be responsible for anything not labeled. You have worked hard to prepare and sort your things, please make sure you present them the best possible way.
· We accept clothing based on seasonal demands.
· Zippers must work, all buttons buttoned, and all snaps snapped and all zippers zipped.
TOYS
· Toys must be clean; not missing any parts and is free of recalls.
· If toy requires batteries please include them.
· We do not accept small vending machine toys or happy meal toys.
BOOKS
· All books should be clean, have good bindings, with good covers and no markings on them.
NURSERY FURNITURE
· We are concerned with the safety of even our littlest customers, all items are checked for recalls and safety notifications’ when they enter the store. You can also check them online at www.cpsc.gov.
· Please clean all items brought into the store. We will return anything that needs to be laundered or wiped down. 409 cleaning solution works wonderful!
After you have carefully sorted through your items and selected the best for our review, give us a call and you can drop them off to Mattie & Me. We will ask you fill out a short form and you will be on your way. You may download our consignment agreement or our drop and run form online, or you can fill them out when you arrive at the store.
Within the next couple business days our staff will review your items and access the resale value of your things. We will then call you to pick up the “no thank you” things unless you signed to donate. ITEMS NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 5 DAYS BECOME THE PROPERTY OF MATTIE & ME TO DISPOSE OF, DISTRIBUTE OR DONATE. We simply do not have the room to store the things you don’t return for.
