FAQ's

What is the difference between buy outright and consignment? TOP

Buying outright means your items are bought and paid for on the spot. Consignment is we create an account for you, inventory and price your items. As your items sell, money is posted to your account. You are paid for items after they sell. The difference between the two is simple, consignment you make a little more money than having your things bought outright.

Do I have to make an appointment to bring things in? TOP
Yes. We do fill up quickly. You do not have to sit here through your appt. it just means that time is designated to your items. Always remember it is best to get your things here at the beginning of a new season.

How often can I drop things off? TOP

Good question! This is one of the best things about our drop and run program. Once you sign our drop and run agreement, you are able to drop off at anytime. To stay on top off your kids closets' and dresser drawers I suggest keeping a box or tote either in their closet or in your laundry room so you can place outgrown items in the box and bring it in when you fill it up. Always mark your boxes when you drop them off. (I do keep black markers at my counter for you to use as well) We cannot be responsible for boxes that are not labeled with your name and consignment / phone number.

Do you sell both new and used items? TOP

YES we do! You will find a generous amount of "new" items in the store as well as gently used items. Everything from clothing to toys! We also carry great items for baby gifts as well. Baby Afghans, Gift Baskets, and so much more! We advise you to check out Kelliebanellies Corner in the store, great place to find some Hip, Trendy Mom/Baby Gear! Way Cool!!!!

Can I bring things in just to swap for new things? TOP

Yes, you can do that. You must mention to us in advance that is your plans. Here is how it works. This does require an appointment, so please call ahead. We will go through your items and pick out what we want to resell. We will then create an account for you for your store credit, and as you shop whether you do it all at once or little by little we will deduct your purchases from your store credit. No cash back is given on store credit. Store Credit pays better than buying outright and less than consignment. It is great for recycling.

How often does your consignment payout? TOP
We do checks the 15th of every month. However, you can use what store credit you have accumulated at anytime during the month if you are in shopping.

Do you check for recalls? TOP

Everything and I mean everything that comes into this store is checked for recalls. Our tiniest customers come first! We are strong believers in the JPMA, (juvenile products manufactures’ association) which is dedicated to promoting the industry and the safe use of juvenile products. The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association exists to advance the interests, growth and well-being of the juvenile products industry through advocacy, public relations, and information sharing and business development opportunities.

What types of things do you take in? TOP

WOW, what a question... what don't we take? Ha-ha! We take anything that has to do with raising a child. A few examples, clothing (of course) baby equipment/furniture, room decor all ages, shoes, dance apparel, seasonal items such as Halloween Costumes, Christmas Outfits, Easter, etc... Books for kids as well as books on raising a child or anything to do with pregnancy. Little knick-knacks, cd's for kids, movies both vhs and dvd's, games (must have all pieces) large stuffed animals, very well cared for stuffed animals. There is so much more, my best advice is if you question it, put it in your box to bring in and ask me! We also take in outdoor toys, call ahead first for drop off info. If you have something that you cannot haul, call us we may be able to help you out.
